چکیده

Synthesis is described of bradykinyl-Val-Ala-Pro-Ala-Ser-OH.All the fragment condensations were carried out by Rudinger's azide method in order to minimize the racemization during the coupling steps involving peptide fragments. The ensuing tetradecapeptide with a high degree of homogeneity was found to be identical with bradykinyl-ValAla-Pro-Ala-Ser-OH of natural origin with respect to chemical and biological properties.

Molecular characterization of apolipoprotein A-I from the skin mucosa of Cyprinus carpio

Apolipoprotein A-I is the most abundant protein in Cyprinus carpio plasma that plays an important role in lipid transport and protection of the skin by means of its antimicrobial activity. A 527 bp cDNA fragment encoding C terminus part of apoA-I from the skin mucosa of common carp was isolated using RT-PCR. After GenBank database searching, a partial sequence containing a coding sequence (CDS)...

Partial amino acid sequence of human plasma retinol-binding protein. Isolation and alignment of the five cyanogen bromide fragments and the amino acid sequences of four of the fragments.

Studies are reported on the primary structure of human retinol-binding protein (RBP), the specific plasma transport protein for vitamin A. The protein consists of a single polypeptide chain of 186-187 amino acids. RBP was cleaved by cyanogen bromide into five fragments, CB-I (27 residues), CB-11 (25 residues), CB-III (20 residues), CB-IV (15 residues), and CB-V (99-100 residues). The cyanogen b...

The Effect of Energy Sources and Levels on Performance and Breast Amino Acids Profile in Cobb 500 Broiler Chicks

The present study conducted to investigate the effect of energy sources and levels on performance and breast meat amino acids profile in Cobb 500 broiler chicks. A total of 600 1-day-old Cobb 500 broiler chicks with an average weight of 39 ± 0.50 g were randomly divided into five treatments. Each treatment was further divided into four replicates. Chicks were fed a basal diet based on corn and ...
